Silas is a Country Boy turned ClimateTech Ecosystem Builder.
Since 2020 he’s worked as a headhunter in the ClimateTech space. As of April 2024, he runs his own recruitment consultancy helping early stage ClimateTech startups hire top talent for a fraction of the price.
Running CleanTechies allows him to stay plugged in to the pulse of ClimateTech and share the stories of other Climate Entrepreneurs.

Somil Aggarwal
Somil is an investor and product expert focused on early stage ClimateTech. Born on Earth Day, he somehow got it into his head that he wanted to be a “ClimateTech VC” when he was 14.
Since then, he has invested at Elemental Excelerator focused on the built environment and co-leading an initiative on understanding AI in ClimateTech. He is also a Product Manager at Schmidt Futures, where he leads research & strategy on AI evaluation and application for a new program in climate AI.
CleanTechies for him is a way to create community around the stories of ClimateTech Entrepreneurs and focus resources to support them in their jounry.
